A combination of an experimental drug and an approved medication for cancer, was given to a patient with tumor that had spread outside of his prostate. The AI technology known as CURATE.AI. was testing how patient was respondind to the experimetal drug.

After CT scan taken to the patient, the results were astonishing as with the doses given with the help of AI cancer markers in his blood were reduced to the lowest levels. Also CT scans showed that the tumours of the patient haven’t spread furtermore.

Professor Dean Ho, from the University of Singapore said: ‘The unique ability for CURATE.AI to rapidly identify the drug doses that result in the best possible treatment outcomes allows for optimised personalised medicine. We are excited that CURATE.AI could ultimately enhance patient accessibility to important new combination therapies, saving lives in the process.’

CURATE.AI. was developed by the researchers giving it patient own data such as the doses of the drug that he had already received, and how this doses had impacted to his cancer biomarker levels in his blood. The patient was given for a year the approved for prostate cancer drug enzalutamide together with ZEN 3694.
